Israel's biggest mobile phone operator, Cellcom, declared on Monday that it launched its new Cellcom TV app, and it will offer Apple TV.
This way, Cellcom said, it will be the first in Israel that will offer broadcast channels, multi-channel television and video on demand content on Apple Tv's streaming.
The service will come with no extra charge, the company said.
Even though it's new on the television market in Israel, Cellcom is coming with a strong arsenal.
The company offers low price internet based services that are able to compete with cable companies and satellite TV companies like YES and HOT.
With such great deals, Cellcom has now more than 100,000 subscribers. Even though it's still below HOT and YES, we will have to take into consideration its remarkable break on the market.
Cellcom added 12,000 new subscribers only in the last quarters, while YES and HOT lost clients with great enthusiasm.
Cellcom Chief Executive Nir Sztern said that the mission of Cellcom is to change the TV market.
