The Aussie head lower against the U.S. counterpart on Thursday, after the Australian employment data's release. Even though the markets had great expectations from the document, the Australian employment data were pretty disappointing.
On the other hand, the New Zealand dollar  although moved higher, remained under pressure.
The AUD/USD went down to 0.7470, after Wednesday's two-months low.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the number of employed people increased in October 9,800, disappointing expectations for a gain of 20,000.
The report showed also that the Australian unemployment rate remained in line with expectations, unchanged at 5.6 percent.
NZD/USD rose at 0.7086, close to the previous session of 0.7031.
The USD was also supported by the expectations that Donald Trump's administration will bolster the economic growth and inflation. Meanwhile, the dollar index was steady at 100.44.
